Glamping pods
Our pod boasts a robust structural timber frame crafted from high-quality external grade timber. Its interior is fortified with 9mm plywood or structural grade OSB sterling board, while the exterior is armored with 12mm plywood of external grade.
For roofing, a non-breathable membrane is utilized when opting for the living roof feature, ensuring durability and resilience. Conversely, when opting for other roofing tile options, a breathable membrane is employed, providing versatility without compromising on quality.
Cladding: Draped in external grade cladding, the pod offers a plethora of choices including cedar, composite, or soft wood cladding. For those with a penchant for uniqueness, the living roof option comes adorned with copper sheeting cladding at the apex, adding a touch of elegance to the structure.
Insulation: Delivering comfort in all seasons, the pod offers two insulation alternatives. The first option entails 150mm rockwool insulation across all roof sections and the floor, ensuring optimal thermal regulation. Alternatively, indulge in the quirky charm of straw insulation treated with both fungicide and fire-retardant spray, marrying sustainability with safety.
Fascia Fancies
Delve into our array of fascia options, ranging from cut cedar, birch, to composite in a spectrum of hues. Opting for the living roof feature? Embrace the chic allure of metal or copper-clad exterior ply fascia.
Windows and Doors: Customize your pod with your choice of PVC, composite, or hardwood windows, ensuring both style and functionality meet your desires.
Internal Electrics: Illuminate your space with flair using our feature 230v sockets equipped with USB charging capabilities. Select from LED or fire-rated spot lighting, with the added convenience of a fused spur for electric radiator connection if the wood burner option isn't on your wishlist.
Optional Extras: Elevate your pod experience with optional additions like a convenient kitchenette paired with a toilet and shower combination. Create your perfect sleeping space with bespoke bunk beds available in single, double, or the ever-popular small double with a single bunk above. Stay cozy with underfloor heating or opt for the alternative hot air heating system powered by an Eberspaecher heating and hot water system.
